Dean Cretsinger A.I.A NCARB
With more than thirty years experience in the construction and architecture field, Dean brings his love of buidings, design, and attention to detail to every project.
His experience is wide ranging and award winning and he has had many roles in both the design and construction industry. Dean has worked as a lead carpenter on high end custom homes and managed the multi-million dollar restoration of the historic Fulton Theatre (now the Byham Theatre) in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. In architecture he has worked on projects large and small from project architect on the renovation of two hotels in Miami, the 17-story, 560 room Deauville Hotel (AIA historic award) and the 1939 Art Deco Winterhaven Hotel in the historic district to working in London England for three years on buildings of all ages, from a 1782 Grade-2 listed Georgian town house to the new construction of a $14 million health club in the heart of London.
As a resident of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area since 2002, Dean has worked for and designed with notable architecture firms such as Versachi Neumann and Morris-Day. His broad experience allows him to provide a wide range of design solutions to meet an individual's particular project requirements. Dean is committed to providing the best design solution possible, be it a simple set of permit drawings or a full scale interior and exterior design of an addition or new home.
Dean is a member of the A.I.A. and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland.
